Navi is a small team in Phoenix building one thing: a way to turn a half-formed idea into a plan you can actually go and do.
Why we started.
“We had the whole internet in our pockets and still spent Saturday morning arguing about where to go.”
Maps knew where things were. Reviews knew what people thought. Our calendars knew we were free. None of them would tell us what to do on a Saturday.
So someone in the group always ended up with nine tabs open, checking hours against the weather, working out what suited a friend with a dog and a toddler in tow.
That’s the part Navi does now. You say the messy thing, you get one plan, and when the day falls apart, it re-plans.
We’re not building somewhere else to browse.

A plan beats a list
Ten options is a chore. We are done when there is one thing to do next, in an order that works.
Specific over generic
“Three spots nearby” is a database talking. “Eight minutes from Lilia” is a friend talking.
Recommendations cannot be bought
No paid placement, no promoted slots, no rate card. The moment a pick is for sale the app is worthless.
Taste is local or it is nothing
The useful knowledge lives with people who walk the same few blocks every week. We go and ask them.
